Context

EyeTemp is a startup dedicated to candle safety and fire prevention from candles. They wanted to redesign their products to appeal to boarder retail audience, aside from their online presence. We carefully studied the candle market and quickly learned that retail shoppers needed a full retail story to understand the fire prevention feature of EyeTemp devices. We designed the CandleSafe program, a unique candle vessel with a heat sensing strip and a sensor EyeTemp device that snaps to any CandleSafe candle vessel to create a safer candle experience. This business program design along with the unique products allowed EyeTemp to form new relationship with large candle companies for future strategic collaboration.
