Context

Sensorlogic wanted to develop an accessory to be sold along with their thermal regulation headcovers patent to capture biometric data for winter athletes, naval crewmembers, and/or arctic sports. We approached the project by identifying a relevant biometric vitals necessary for overall health when exposed to extremely cold climates. We designed a smart wristband with a detachable sensor module which could be attached to the Sensorlogic headcovers, athlete clothing, and future sport peripherals. The design exploration along with the modular sensor strategy enabled Sensorlogic to further solidify their patent filings and reach perspective customers in new market channels they had not previously considered.
